A Sweet Surprise
I found the following little essay in Dianna's Friday Folder from school this weekend. It made me smile. The assignment was to write about somebody special.
"My Mom - by Dianna
My mom is special because she always takes care of me. My mom is named Julia Robertson. She is very nice, and loves me very much. Also, my mom is so beautiful. One of her favorite things is me.
One of her favorite activities is playing giant frisbee with the family. She has dark brown hair, and brown eyes. I love my mom!"

Don't worry, Junie... I save almost all my children's writings! I have them in a filing cabinet in the attic, and I'm sure they will make for very nostalgic reading in five or ten years!
