I took the kids to the beach on Tuesday, and we had a GREAT day! The weather was perfect - hot enough to swim, but not so hot that we got sunburnt! The kids were happy as clams the whole time, digging, building, leaping, fishing, swimming, doing handstands, throwing soggy sand lumps, playing "life", and generally having a marvelous time. I felt a great sense of satisfaction, watching them play happily out in the sunshine and fresh air, and knowing they were making a great memory together.
