Full Bloom
A daffodil is a thing of beauty:

Many daffodils together make a cheery, uplifting sight.

Here is my little crop of daffodils in its entirety, plus a cat! The bulbs I planted actually had three varieties of daffodil, but the other types apparently died off, leaving only the orange-middle kind. I don't mind, though; I think they're beautiful! I think I'll plant a few more bulbs in the front there this Fall, though, to replace the ones that stopped growing.

Daffodils even SMELL good! I have a finnicky sense of smell and can't smell the scent of most flowers, but I CAN smell daffodils.
Can you tell I love daffodils?!?! :)
If I came to visit her at a time of year when they were available, Gran always had a couple of vases of daffodils decorating her house for me when I arrived. She loved all types of flowers, and she was in charge of the weekly flower arrangements for her church. I often watched her creating those arrangements... in my mind, I can still clearly see her hands snipping off the stems at an angle and pushing them down into the chunk of oasis. Gran had a talent with plants and flowers.
